Good Skimmer Brand

A friend setting up new tank, any suggestion for a good skimmer brand to buy? Thanks!

I use a Coralife superskimmer on my 55 in a sump. For the price, it works great.

I use an Octopus BH100F...great skimmer for an awesome price.

I have an Octopus NW-110 recirculating skimmer. It's working very well for a mid-priced skimmer. He's really going to need a sump for it, though. The ASM G-series skimmers are also very popular and not too horribly expensive.

I run the 125 on mine It does work great

I have to say, after smelling the skimmate, and seeing the green crud that comes out, I would NEVER, EVER run a SW tank without a skimmer

Using an Octopus OTP 2000 on our 120. Fantastic skimmer with great support from pacific coast imports.

The Tunze line is not the cheapest but is very effective and is very small and size efficient.

Budget is $200 and he wants an inline skimmer. Not really sure why he wanted inline skimmer though hehe

I have had an octopus they are okay and sometimes have issues dialing in. I would by a deltec, das, bubble king!! I have a das works great no trouble skim a cup a day wet "by choice".
