good skimmer options

I am in the market for a new skimmer. I currently have a cad light tia-1150 and I am about sick of it overflowing when I accidently tap it and then water flows into the air intake which I have to take apart and blow the water out :angryfire: so looking for something that will handle the same bio load and same footprint. Hoping to score something used to save money

I have the older model of ^^^ that skimmer sitting in my closet. I'll give you a good deal on it if you're interested. The pump is outside the skimmer body though so it takes up more room. The newer "space saver" model looks nice.

If you want new though, the Aquamaxx line might be a good option. Or, if the NAC3 is too small, you could check out the Bubble magnus curve line. I don't have personal experience with those though.

Lol, you need one? Skimmer has crazing and the lid is a little jacked up but it works fine. I bought an old member's entire system over 2-years ago and used most of his stuff for a QT. No longer need it and it's been in my closet since. You know how it goes!
