Good Times at Bio-Reef....

After reading that other thread I tried to sit down and think of the things I have purchased at Bio-Reef and how they did. Also how the customer service has been in my experiences.

Back in October of 2005 I bought a Gold Stripped Maroon Clownfish. I still have her and she's doing great. Awesome fish.

Around the same time I bought a Colt Coral because my wife thought it was pretty. It died about 3 months later most likely due to being placed in an immature tank.

At the time, I thought that the people may not have been the friendliest in the world but seemed knowledgable and as stated by others, the place was very clean.

Since then I have been in many times, Some just to look and John or Jack always says hello. Both have even taken some time to chat if no others were in the store that needed help.

I have received more than fair prices on many things, Been welcomed with a friendly "hug" when they heard that I was diagnosed with Cancer and they never complain when my wife and I bring our camera in and take pics of their fish or corals and don't buy anything.

There are several excellent stores in and around Jacksonville and Bio-Reef is definately one of them in my book!

As for a guarantee on fish.....I never asked, Never needed to use one if there was one and never thought about it.

I have always thought that John, Craig, and Jack were fair and honest with me. I am very happy about having such great stores in our town.

:eek2: Oh yeah... she's an awesome BITER!!!
She's in my tank and on occasion thinks I'm food I guess.

Back on subject though ...

I can't complain about the customer service either, as the guys are very understanding when it comes to having an excited 3 yr old (almost) running around their store and trying to examine everything that's within arm's reach. At least I haven't seen any panicked looks on their faces.

do they have an email address? there isn't one posted on their site...and I wanted to email them a picture of what I'd like a stand to look like for a price quote...

Did you try clicking on the e-mail for Cades in the "Acclimation" thread? I am sure he can get the answer you need.

Yeah..I tried that as well as a PM.... will wait though..heh..I am not doing this til Jan...so I have plenty of time..just thought they might have an email address for the store.
