good to switch up salts?

Its time to get more salt, and i was curious if it was a good idea to switch up salt brands or not. I would be doing it just to see if it made any difference. I'm using IO RC and i haven't had any problems, but i was thinking about buying some Oceanic just to try. Am i asking for trouble?

Preliminary M.A.R.S.H. salt findings actually had Reef Crystals as one of the top mixes... so why switch? Especially if it's working for you.

Short answer, Oceanic and Reef Crystals have quite different concentrations of certain important elements. If RC is doing well for you, I would stick with it.
Oceanic is very high in Calcium, but low in other important elements. Calcium can be added via other means quite easily.
IMO Oceanic is unbalanced compared to Natural Sea Water, More so than RC.

I would stick with the rc. great salt and as test have shown one of the best also.

I'd stick w/ RC. They have a good reputation and it's working for you. I use RC also (switched from IO).

i like seachem reef... but if you dont have local access to alot of the other types of salt you may be stuck...
