Goodbye to Patches

A LIFE WELL LIVED 1992-2008

Patches, our beloved companion and friend passed away lying on my lap on Wednesday 29th of November, 2008 at 9:16 AM. She will be missed greatly.

I know most of you do not know me, but some of you may have been by at my house a few years ago for a reef meet and met Patches, so I wanted to share this with you. If you have a dog, give them a hug from me.

I will also be most probably shutting down my tanks (pictures in my gallery) and will be posting a list sometime soon.

Very sorry about your loss. I feel like no one really ever grasps someone elses pain over the loss of a pet , but I know there are a lot of people on this forumn who can honestly sympathize with you right now. I would be crushed to not have one of my dogs with me and I haven't been with them nearly as long as you and Patches. The bond there really is something special. Again I am sorry about your loss and I hope that you take some solice in the fact that you know you gave everything you had to Patches and she felt loved. All dogs deserve to be loved that much but sadly only a few are so lucky to have someone care about them like you did for her.

Thanks for your thoughts guys, it means a lot to us. It has been over five weeks and we are still getting over it.

As indicated in my original post, I am now shutting down my tanks. Details will be posted in a new thread.
