I have a sectioned off 20L which has a pair of small juvie pink skunks and a very small pair of juvie calrkii. This tank sits about 5 feet from a sliding glass door that is facing east. It gets a lot of morning sunshine before the lights come on and both pair of fish will swim at an angle toward the light. I've heard of this when trying to raise fry but this is the first I've seen it in larger fish. MY spawning clarkii are about 12' from the window and don't seem to exhibit this behavior.

It is quite strange to walk up to your tanks in teh morning and see the fish swimming along at a 45 degree angle. :p
