gorg growth?

I think one of my gorgs is finally starting a new branch. Not sure how it actually works, but it is starting a "bud". Anyone know if this is how it's done?

That looks like the same one I got at the Nash. frag swap. Mine has grown 5 vertical branches that have budded of from the original single, horizontal branch. The guys said that if you let them wave slightly horizontally, that branches will grow up from that. Seems to have for you too! For fragging, I think they just cut it and glued it to a rock, but I haven't tried that yet; I want to let it grow bigger first.
