Gorgonian Help

Hi i recently purchased some gorgonians and one of them was already damaged at the tips. Do you guys think I should clip the dead branches?

thats what i have done in the past.

I would. IME they tend to grow algae on the dead branches much faster than they can grow tissue.

i already clipped the dead branches last night. I hope it recovers.
