the nudi or the snail?

I believe the snail(s) cannot live without their specific prey: Gorgonians.

If anyone knows more about these snails please post here.

I have not had much time for this but really wanted to learn more about it. Mel gave me two small frags of the gorg with both of the hitchhickers on it. The gorg ended up melting away. Something that I noticed, or perhaps I should say didn't notice was lack of bite marks. Before the gorg frags died I was looking for eggs and bite wounds on them. With a few of the nudibranches and this snail all on two inches of this gorg I would assume there would be some harm. I did not see that at all. I have not seen the colony, so just going on the small frags after couple days of them being.

Mel I suggest moving the main colony right up to the glass. Scrape algae first. And keep a very close eye, magnified.

Will do. I should have brought you the pieces that the snail had munched away on... I ended up trimming and tossing those and then had to snip a couple of good pieces off to put in the dish with them.

If I find any eggs or juvi's, you'll be one of the first to know.
