Gorgonian stings?

Has anyone been stung or had a bad reaction to a gorgonian before?

I was moving a coral a couple of weeks ago and my forearm brushed one of my gorgonians. I can't say for certain that's what it was, but it's the only thing I can think of that caused a rash on my arm. It looked very similar to poison ivy for the first day or two, then scabbed over and has been itchy since. It's going away now, but I was just curious if anyone's ever had something similar happen.

I have moved mine in my tank several times and never got a sting.

Nor I, but everyone reacts differently to the alien forms in our tanks. Look for hydroids on the gorg. I've seen them growing out of acros... If so, they could be what got you(?). Just throwing out ideas.

have 2 photo types had 2 nonphoto and have had any reaction.

It's wierd. I don't remember touching or brushing against anything else... This is a "frag" of the piece I'm thinking did it. The entire colony is twice the size of this piece:
