Gorilla crabs

I have two small gorilla crabs. I am told these are bad news. I can't catch the buggers. Have tried traps without luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Reading other threads, it seems you can fashion a trap out of an old soda bottle by cutting off the upper portion and inverting it into the bottle, re-glue it, and then put a piece of shrimp or other food in there. Make sure the hole is big enough for the crab. Also, change the food out regularly (it may take a good while for the crab to finally make its way to the trap) so that it doesn't foul up your water quality with a piece of rotting food. As for what you do once you catch it, that is for you to decide.
