Got a bubble coral - now softies are sad :(

I picked up a green bubble coral and a Kleins Bfly 3 Days ago and now my Devils-hand and my Green Sinularia are not happy?

Sinularia was right near the bubble and may have touched it at night (doubt it tho), but now it is burnt and 2 of three stalks are dead looking.

Also, my Devils hand did not open up today at all. It's never done this before.

Could there be some sort of chemical reaction to the bubbles' presence?

Thanks in advance for your advise.

if there was a chemical reaction i would think it would show in the LPS coral before showing in the softies...

i would watch the bubble (frogspawn?) at night to see if it extends any sweepers...that is what very well could have stung your sinularia...

i dont know though, i have a frogspwn in my tank that is always rubbing against my sinularia, and there doesnt seem to be any interaction between the two, and i have a torch that often rubs against my devils hand and i cant see any ill effects...

Thanks, yeah. I'm suspicious. I just was talking to my family and realized. I got the bubble coral 7 days ago and the Kleins Butterfly fish 2 days ago. My sinularia getting all burned looking happened 1 day ago. So, maybe it's something fish did or is doing at night? I got the Kleins just to eat aptasia, but maybe he's eating a bit more than intended!

Either way, I'm going to swap out some water in the AM. I guess I could get rid of the bubble, but really, I don't think I can catch the fish.

Bubble is one of the most aggressive corals in the hobby; it could easily burn and melt down just about any soft coral. Sinularia in particular dies back quickly with even a glancing sting- bubble could turn it black and gooey within just a few hours. Sweepers tend to come out at night, and in the right circumstances can stretch out 6-8", so give it plenty of room. As far as the Klein's is concerned, it is relatively safe for a butterfly, but is still likely to pick at coral on occasion. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was trying to eat your devil's hand. I would suggest pulling it out of the tank before it gets more aggressive (they never get better I'm afraid).
