Ok, so i got some new frags and one of them has aiptasia. I went out and got a peppermint shrimp, but he likes to hide due to my cleaner shrimp. I was thinkin about giving it some lemon juice...but it is RIGHT in between my zoos. If i pick it off will i spread it?

I've tried everything until I broke down and bought Joe's Juice. I'll never use anything else. I have only one aiptasia now after fighting them off and on for years- I'm saving him for my peppermint that should at the doorstep any moment.

Don't pick it off, they spread like that. I learned that the hard way. I had like 3 of them on a frag that I got and used a toothbrush to kill them (by scraping the LR really hard) and then there was a bunch of them and then it got out of control. I added two peppermint shrimp and they took care of the job. Mine only came out at night, and pretty much hid all day for the first month. Then they became active it seemed once they figured out it was safe.

The Joes juice will work to kill the main part (or mix up a paste of Kalk/Mrs Wags if you have some) inject them with that. The Peppermints will clean up the small parts left over.

Well, i have it on one frag.....i can either go back to the store, about 1 hour away, and get a new, aiptasia free colony. Or just stick with what i got and hope for the best with my shrimp......what to do?

Cut that piece off the rock off if you can. If you can't take it back if it's not too big a hassle(aips are likely to be on the other also though if they are from the same source) . I have allways had good luck with the peppermints FWIW and I allways keep 1 or 2 in my tanks. They hide during the day but will come out at night and do their job;)

Well, like i said its about an hour away........i don't think there is any on the other frags seeing that they came from a different tank. I got them from a big and popular aquatics store. So they do have different tanks. Blah...i don't know, is it worth my time to go an hour for a little aiptasia with a peppermint in my tank?

I got a peppermint shrimp to take care of some aiptasia I found in my tank. It was shy the first week or so, but after it molted for the first time it quickly took care of the aiptasia. Maybe just give it some time?
