May sound crazy but I am looking for some rocks locally that are Aiptasia covered for a finicky Copperband Butterfly.
I have a couple hundred pounds of some nice clean pest free rock to do a swap.
If interested let me know and post a photo if your not too embarrassed.

I am in Slinger

Sorry, I don't have any Aptasia covered rocks any more, but I had to laugh. I had "embarrassing" aptasia covered rocks and got a copperband to try and get rid of them. Worked great. Cleaned up every last one of them. Downside was the copperband ran out of food, and I tried to get people to trade for aptasia covered rocks. Didn't find any takers and the fish passed on. :( Best of luck finding food for the CB. I tried every thing I could to get the CB to eat something, but did not have any luck.

I now have it eating.
Just took some live brine shrimp and some patience.
Will still do a rock swap if anyone has Aiptasia covered rocks.

try live black worms. I think they are generally used for freshwater beta fish but i know they work as food for a CB and well!

As an option have you considered selling the Copper Banded to someone else with an Aptasia problem. It might be a lot easier to move the fish than loads of rock which mught have some corals already attached to them.

Then you alos get an agreement that when when and if tank gets loaded with Apistia again you buy the fish back at the same price you sold it for.

Personaly I just added a pigmy angle to my 120 gallon to help out my 3 peppermint shrimp that were not doing a good job on my Apistia. Once all the apistia is gone I'm hopping to add some bubble aneonemies. But moving my live rock would be a night mare considering there are corals attached to about 1/2 the pieces right now.
