got another mantis today. $18

One of his smashers are missing...hopefully it will grow back.

He is currently banging away at an astrea snail in my 12g nano.

nice mantis! G. ternatensis?

no idea. falcatus possibly because of the 4 black dots on its tail. but the red inter-segmental stripes seems that of the ternatensis.

In less than 1 day he has massacred 2 snails and dealt a leathal blow to gillbert my green falcatus mantis... a sad day for gillbert. I think I will name him Grim.

Yeah.. bad idea to begin with.

I read that if both are small, they will tolerate eachother. I guess not. Lesson learned.
