Got me a dendro

2 for $40. It was opened right when I put it in the tank and is eating. What kind is it? How fast do they usually grow?

Probably Dendrophyllia fistula. Feed it regularly and I would expect to see 3-5 babies pop up within a year.

I love dendros but they do grow kind of slow. Get a sun coral next to them and it'll be awesome.
