Got my new skimmer

Got my H&S A250 earlier this week. I can't wait to get this bad boy up and running. Hopefully, I will have it done in the next week or two.

Have a question for everyone...is it normal to have tiny microbubbles in the tank when the tank is young. I have been told that the plumbing might need to slime up a bit for the bubbles to dissipate.

I don't think they are coming from the skimmer, as I turned that off for awhile and still had the bubbles. However, the sump does seem to have some bubbles in it and the skimmer is in sump.

Any thoughts on how to determine what is causing them?

The LFS that set up the tank believes this is normal during the break in period. I am not sure and think the water looks terrible. All animals are doing great.

give a couple weeks for breakin, than if have some still post on how your tank is setup than we can figure it out, probally just needs to go through breakin period though.

Will do...it has been up and running for about 10 weeks. I will try and get some pictures posted this weekend. I think some tiny bubbles are coming into the sump from the top off cube that the LFS built. This was put in 2 -3 weeks after setup and it is since then that I noticed bubbles. Just put it together, but not sure how to confirm my theory.

Sorry...trying to figure out how to resize the pictures. Got the new skimmer set up today. No change in microbubbles.

To be honest, not sure how much flow is going through the sump. The LFS set everything up and I am still trying to learn. The refug is about 100 gallons and the sump is probably another 75 gallons. Trying to post pictures.
