golfish - by any chance can you make one for me and I will pay you for the trouble plus the equipment fees.

Their pretty easy to make, finding the parts is another matter. Places like HD and Lowes will have the 1.5" end cap and you might even find the 3" coupler there but the bushing\reducer is another story. I know where to get em but their closed till Monday and its not really going to be high on my list of things to do. If you guys want to bring me the parts I can put it together for you in a few minutes.

You do have 1.5" drains in your overflow, right?

I just got back from Mark's place and he made for me 1 x 1" stockman pipe. Very nice DIY stuff.

Thank you Mark.

im looking for a standpipe in my 60 gallon corner tank. theres an internal overflow box being put in to accomodate the 2 inch bulkhead at the bottom of the tank, but i dont know which design of standpipe i should us, ive always used a durso, and loved them.

however, ideally i want to conserve space, since the foot print is only 24x24 so i dont want a large 2 inch pvc durso taking up somewhere around 6 inches.

would a stockman take up far less space and still work as silently as a durso? help me decide!!
