Got PVC Pipe?

I'm looking for a piece of 6" Sch 40 PVC about 16 to 20 inches long. I really hate to buy a 10' section for what I am doing, so figured I'd ask here first... I also need a 6 inch PVC coupling, but I know lowes carries them they just don't have one in stock at the place I go to.

I'm actually bulding a DIY Kalk reactor...

Almost forgot, I have two bundles of 3/4 " PVC in the back (sprinkler systems) that I have left over from when the pool was done. Had to redo the sprinkler system and over purchased so if anyone needs any I have some.

home depot or lowes sells pvc by the foot, you just ask them to cut it to whichever length, and then they charge you by that..

The Home Depot I just went to does not carry 6 inch PVC...

Dave - check with John Deere Landscapes...they sell everything irrigation-wise...they might have some stock they can cut - or a leftover piece. Theres several of them around.

Are you using a power head to mix the kalk? Or will you use a stirrer?

Chris, I am going to use a mag 2 to mix, it will be on a timer so it will come on twice in a 24 hour period, I may adjust this depending.... I should finish up getting all the parts by this weekend and start on Sunday. I will post a parts list and pics to show progress....

Sure.... I'm still in recovery from my little misshap but it looks like I am finally getting a handle on this red algae issue I have been having.

I discovered I do not have the right size drill bit so it's back to lowes to get one..... a 13/16 ths
