Got Stomatopod?

David they posted a couple new ones and one is a 3 1/2 " peacock and its a female! that is the smallest one i have seen so far on there. I know you wanted small and female

Actually he just posted another female he wrote 4" but on the ruler she is only 1 1/2" so i think he made a mistake and its only 1 1/2" and $32

Just a Side note for people trying to get tanks together. Billy will be on vacation all next week so you have time. SO, they wont be shipping until the week after

Once you know what you want email him and he will pull it off the site so it doesn't accidentally get purchased. I would just let him know you are part of the group buy or post it here and i or david can contact him

Ok...got to check my mail finally! I think kdblove_99 is a step or two ahead of me in comunications with Billy! (lol)... Here is his first reply:
Hello Dave,

Absolutely. We would certainly be happy to entertain any group purchase. We can offer both pricing discounts and shipping discounts. In your particular case with the tank division I would go with a 3” or smaller peacock and possibly a ciliata or a rock dweller like a ternatensis, glabrous, graphurus, smithii. Personally I would go for the ciliata. Just to have a smasher/spearer tank. Very cool.

Thank you very much Dave,

I have sent a new e-mail asking if there will be a minimum purchase and confirming the fact they will hold chosen specimens for us until order is finalized...waiting for reply : )

Man Billy is fast on it! Here's his second reply:
Hello Dave,

Excellent news. I wanted to let you know that there is no minimum or maximum order size. We will also be offering a 15% discount on all stomatopods and corals. Species reservations are also no problem. We can pull those desired off our site easily for reservation purposes.

Good to hear from you Dave and thanks,

And to sum it up...:
Hello Dave,

If you’d like you can call now. It is a little late and I do plan on getting to bed soon since I will be up at 5am to travel. Otherwise I will be returning on the 10th which would also be a good time to contact me. I will be doing a lot of diving there so I can’t guarantee to be available via phone this coming week.

As far as specimen reservations, doing this by email would work just fine. We will be continuing to administer the site while I am out of town. So removing them from the site is not a problem. Send reservation requests to sales@stomatopod.com and we will make it happen.

We are expecting a Philippines shipment on the 11th, but it was supposed to arrive two weeks ago. I certainly hope it doesn’t get pushed back even more. But we are expecting some species not on the list currently.

Thanks Dave,

would my two small damsels be lunch also .there tough little fish! my 20 gal has lots of coral and sand on bottom should keep it from glass on bottom.

You could make effort to remove the Fire Shrimp! lol... : )
I will trade you for (2) peppermint's! Otherwise I say go for it!!!
You are one step ahead by already having an established 20g! I say look for a "spearer" and let him take out your damsels instead!

forgot dont know if he told you also david not only 15% off mantis and corals but also said

Also tell everyone that this group buy will qualify for 15% off any price of anything on our site. Corals or Mantis, anything we have.

We will do a nice discount on shipping as well.

so start reserving i still see all the peacocks on there except the one i reserved

I decided to wait and keep looking for the perfect peacock...
So in the meantime I reserved a "spearer"... P. Ciliata 005 Details

Length: 2 1/2" Sex: Female
Condition: Excellent. Beautiful yellow morph. Both raptoral appendages are intact.
: )... Guess I need to make a run to Tap Plastics tomorrow!

lysiosquilla maculata or pseudosquilla ciliata look kool 1 or 2 inch . im in .your shrimp can they live with my other shrimp in other tanks i got two pairs of coral bandit onein 20 and in 55 you can have fire shrimp bro.

Each specimen may have its own personality including feeding habbits. Keep in mind these animals are highly evolved specialized hunters! I would "test" compatability with inexpensive inhabitants and expect to lose them later...(if not sooner) lol : )
I say pull your fire shrimp, leave the damsels, and get a "spearer"!
