If anyone needs sand, I have close to a bucket left. FREE as always.

I could really use the sand Davey! Can I get it this weekend?

back on track.

WHat if any skimemr do you guys plan on using? This has been the toughest decision so far.

There are a few but some get bad raps so i am not sure about the. SOme i was checking out are.
these are all HOB skimmers
Finnex
Coralife 65
Octopus
Odyssea PS75 would mesh mod pump
bacpak never owned only heard bad things
Remora i have owned it was Garbage
Seaclone owned= garbage
Tunze 9002 the price is killing me $150 for this little thing
Deltec= just too much $$$$

Would actual like to hook it on my sump instead of the tank so its not an eyesore.

I think the Tunze would fit the best and would be the only skimmer small enough to actully fit in my sump. but $150 cant do.

Depends on the size of the tank. Here's a list, in order of performance:
Deltec MCE 600 - Hands down winner, no question
Deltec MCE 300 - OK, but is no where near as good as the 600.
Tunze 9002
Remora
CPR Backpack - with MJ 1200
Sapphire

Those are the ones that I have personal experience with. The Bermuda Rogue looks very promising, and is cheaper than the Deltec MCE 600. HTH.

Forgot to mention jeremy it will be going on a 28 gallon tank with 5.5 gallon sump. altogether maybe 33 gallons of total water.

I think the MCE600 would be some serious overkill
