Got Sympodium Pics?

Blue or green also blue and green are the colors I've seen. I'm waiting on blue to come in at the lfs I work at, and I'm gona snag it before anyone buys it lol.

I've got two somewhat different morphs of sympodium, both of which have been in my tank for almost a year now without shifting appearance much. Photos below.

I've been thinking about adding some of this to my tank, does it get really invasive like those little blue snowflake clove polyps?

What's the going rate for sympodiums? Let say in inches. Is $150 a good price for 2 and a half inches?

I don't really know what they are normally sold for, I do see one on DD right now that's 3 1/4" for $69.99, and I saw a 5" one there one time for 90 bucks.

Then, maybe different colors would make some more expensive just like other corals. If you buy one, post a pic!

Not hardly. Contrary to advertising claims by lots of vendors, sympodium not only isn't a fast grower it's a downright slow grower. It also tends to mound as it grows rather than grow outwards, so it spreads even slower than it grows.

There are plenty of SPS corals that grow faster than this stuff.

Liveaquaria has the best price, averaging around $25/square inch. Less scrupulous vendors will sell you an 3/4" frag that they'll say is aquacultured even though it isn't for $60.

No one is growing this commercially, it doesn't grow fast enough.
