Got word on the Remora Nano Skimmer

i contacted AquaC about the Remora Nano Skimmer and this is the reply i got:
"We're just about to start production on the Nano Remora (this week), so it should be available within the next month or two, depending on when our distributor can get it out there."

Sounds like it will be sooner rather than later which is always a good thing.

i herd it will only be like 20 less than the remora which kinda sucks. the production put into it is basically the same as the regular remora. but i herd its nice and small

I dont know how much smaller it is, but I think around the eighty would be awesome. I wish they would maked a CSS nano.

Henry, these skimers are made by hand, EACH piece put together by HAND, that's why the price is so high.

Oh sweet, yeah, I am thinking about getting a reg for my 15, but their like 180 and I would rather have a nano version which by what it stated is still overskimming. But a CSS nano would be sweet because their great skimmers from what I hear and their cheap.

Yeah, but the CSS is a different type of skimmer. It might not work as well if it was downsized, where as the Remora is an airinjection and has a totaly different internal configuration and would be able to work at any size as long as all of the specs where kept in ratio/proportion. The CSS may be able to be scaled down, but I'm not sure it would be able to skim the same amount or as efficient.

ohh yeah, I understand. I just hope it doesn't get delayed like the fission or maybe that was just me, but it seemed like it took forever to come out.

yeah i aggree a 99.95 would prob. be a sweet spot like the ASM mini. its 99.95.

that way when i see people in the pet store about to pay 100 bucks for the jebo or seaclone.
