Grafted Corals

This is a bit latter down the line the 2 spots became one and the one is now part of the coral.

I found this coral in the greenhouse on friday, the crazy coloration looks a bit like the "grafted simplex" photos. This seems to be only a temporary condition though. In the last 5 years I have found a couple pieces of this coral that have turned solid green but they have always been small (around 1") and they have always turned back to blue/purple in time.

The coral in the photos that I posted made this color change on its own. It has to be some kind of temporary aberration since its only one piece out of so many.

thats just crazy (tracey morgan from SNL voice...hope someone knows what i am talking about.) i'm bryan fellows :D

i have a purple prostrata that a teal formosa grew into... the edges of the prostrata coralites started turning teal... oddly enough, on the far opposite side of where the two corals began to touch

i have since seperated them for tank remodeling and the prostrata is back to all purple

my sis has red and a green monty digis that look like they are doing this on there own we hope they do become one coral i will try to get some pics.

Okay you guys are really confusing me...

Whenever I think of grafting I think of skin grafting...so are these corals grafted onto each other or is there something else more sinister going on?? :lmao:
