Gray Seas Aquatics Skimmers

I just received my new GS1 cone yesterday. I won't have it in the tank until late tonight (Sunday) or sometime tomorrow. It seems very nice for the price point.

I have GSA std 8 skimmer for almost a year for my 144gl and it's great. It pulls all sort of stuff from my water.

Here are a few photos of my GS1 cone skimmer, using a Sicce with large purple pinwheel. Photos are ~18hrs after putting it in my sump.

Yes, the GS1 has a seam. I'd bet the GS2 does as well. I don't mind, since I know that it would have been a lot more expensive had GSA made the cone seamless. I'm loving the GS1 so far, seam and all. :)

I honestly don't know what the footprint is, as I didn't measure it and I don't want to pull the cone out of my sump to do so. If I had to give a rough estimate, I'd say it's about 9" wide by maybe 13" long.
