Great Egret photos

I was down by a river in Rye, NY and saw a Great Egret. I thought it was out of place but i had my camera and decided that i might as well take some pictures. I like input, as much as possible, i like getting better.

I forget but i think i took this with either my rebel xsi or canon D60 with my tamron 28-300mm
 
Great photos...if I have any critique to make, it's that the photos could use a little more contrast to make them a bit more dramatic. But, very cool.
 
Thanks I think that would work. I also forgot this one. Its my favorite.

You can see the fish in his mouth
 
In the first two you took pictures of his butt, which usually isn't recommended. They also seem over-exposed. Many of the feathers are pure white with no detail. They also could stand to be cropped IMO. Not bad though. The fish is a nice touch.
 
yeah sorry about the but but :) he was flying away and these were the last pictures i could take before hew as way to faraway to tack pics. thanks for the help also ill see how they look cropped
