I posted a message a while ago to purchase a few corals from the locals. And WOW! A few things were given to me! If this is the kind of things to happen in this forum, I can't wait to get to a meeting. Not to expect free stuff, but to get free info. Hopefully I can raise the things in my tank to become healthy enough so I can return the favor. Not to many people give things away anymore, especially during these times. Thanks a lot folks.

We all had to start somewhere. It's nice to see people's tanks fill up with beautiful color but so that they don't have to spend a ton of money on expensive yet small frags to do it.

Besides, it's nice to have somewhere to go if our tanks crash and we need to start some of the same colonies back up. :lol:

Yep - you never know when a crash could be around the corner. I wish I'd got more of the Acans passed around. I nealy lost a $150 colony.

I just met Kevin and his wife, nice folks. I sent them away with some frags and a handful of GFo to get their algae issues under control. Best of luck to you guys!
