Wednesday morning my JBJ nano cube hood light system with the c.f. florescent bulbs decided to act stupid and make only very little light from both bulbs and an odd smell. Decided that since the screws holding the light cover in were too rusted to take out without drilling, and then who knows if parts would be locally available, including bulbs made a trip to my awesome LFS and get a new Zetlight X9 96w led light system and mounting kit. $350.00 for the light and mounting kit. It's a very nice light, makes the colors pop on the fish and corals really nicely and what I saw as an alternative at the fish store my friend goes to are very reasonably priced.
