All these shops I feel are worth stopping in at and they have good fish & coral selections all about 15-30 min from RAP

This is THE closest store to the OC Fairgrounds and is one of my favorites.

few SPS but they do stock ALOT of LPS, Zoas, and softies....yep, my kinda store!
All fish and corals are displayed very well and priced cheaper than most stores I've seen.
It is also one of the larger stores so they have a good selection of drygoods/supplies too.

Coral Oasis +2 great store n service. Ben is great owner n always will to help in emergency. So the story is few years ago I was abroad for work n my tanks returns sprang a leak. The 180 gallon was half empty when my wife got home. She called me n I asked her to call Coral Oasis ie Ben to help. Ben immediately came over brought water n fixed the leak. He cleaned the mess n even reset my gfi. When I got back Ben volunteered n came over to advised me how to rewire the outlets for they were too close to the returns n drains.
PS. RAP was great this year. Thanks to the volunteers.

Ali and Ben's shops were my favorite when I lived there a few years ago. Ali is extremely knowledgeable and a really cool dude in general.

I went to Coral Oasis like 6 months ago and the person, I thought was the store owner and worker there, is named Andy.
Andy was nice. I hope the store is doing OK.
Actually I don't think I have met an @$$H0L3 owner from any LFS. The economy really shapes these guys up (if you are a cup half full kind of guy).

Total dejavu....
didn't you and I have a similar experience years ago when one of your tank stands was about to buckle under? So long ago I don't remember the specifics. Weird that we've been in this hobby so long.

I totally forgot about coral oasis, Ive gotten a few goodies from there. They sometimes have zoa colonies that you cant find at other shops for cheap! A big range from 5$ frags up to 100$ colonies. I need to add them to my OC' shops "worth stopping by" list
