Why that and not Acropora vermiculata?

Irritate the polyps, so they close up. It'll be easier to ID, without the polyps hiding the shape of the corallite.

Possibly A. tenuis.

I think you might have nailed it with A. tenuis the pics of that on the zeovit id forums look identical to my coral.
