Green algae problem

Hi I am new to the hobby I have a 58 gallon tank and I have this green algae that is growing everywhere it's starting to spread like wildfire don't know what kinda algae it is. I'm trying for a community reef tank any suggestion on anything I can put in or what is causing it I have 3 clowns a blue tang and a Fox face along with some crabs and shrimp thanks guys anything helps

Algae thrives on phosphates. So, cut your phosphates out and your algae will go away. Also, minimize your lighting right now as green hair algae loves excessive light. Are you using tap water to top off? Most tap water is full of phosphates and other minerals that can cause problems in your aquarium. As another member stated above, RODI water is the best way to go. :)
