I get this lime green algea or whatever it is growng off my glass and sand and rock all my parimeters are fine and my MH's are on for 8 hours a day. I clean the glass off with mag float and the next day its back in a thin layer and next day its bright lime green. Is there a chemical that I can use to eliminate this. I am running a UV sterilizer. My parimeters are as follows:

ph - 8.3
Ammo - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 0
Phosphate - 0
KH - 11
mag - 1040
calcium - 480
temp before the halides 75 after the halides go off 80 or 81
What can I do to stop this?
