green branching hammer

I have a green branching hammer. It is probly 1 year old. When I got it, it only had three heads. Now it is probly about 15 to 20. My question is with all of these heads crowded in on itself would the hammer be stinging itself. Should this be fragged out. I have never done this before. and to tell you the truth I would be nervous to do it myself for the first time. If you all think it should be fragged, And someone would be willing to show me how to do this correctly. I can donate a peice or two (depending on how many good fraggs we could get off of it) to the frag donations forum.

Do you have a dremel? I have used that before on my frogspawn. I know some people use various kinds of cutters. Just go below the fleshy part onto the calcium skeleton and cut...or the lower part of a branch if you want to include more than one head on the frag. There is usually people looking for frogspawn, so I'd frag it and sell it. Since I'm so close I'd help you out if I can find some spare time one of these days.

3 heads grown into 15 to 20? What a terrible problem to have! That is great! I would be interested in a frag as well. Thanks.

I've just scored my candy cane's with a razor knife and broken by hand in the past. So I don't think it's a very exact science.

I would probably be interested in a frag too. I've had a 2 head hammer that I've had for almost a year and it hasn't grown any new heads at all. It did have to put up with lots of newbie mistakes though and visibly suffered at times. But I'd be curious to see if yours, which obviously grows fast, would grow fast in my tank.

No need to but frag it if you like, or if you like to look of it just keep it as a big show piece. I've aquired a non branching hammer that is about 6"x4" or so and I just love its size. I've also seen a few people's frogspawn that was just huge and it was absolutely beautiful.
