Green BTA question

Will weak bulbs cause a BTA to move around? It is really the only explanation that I can come up with, everything else in the tank is fine. I have ordered new VHO's, since my current ones are about 10 mos old.

Any thoughts?

Yes, they will move to find more light if they need to. You could just leave the lights on an extra hour to provide more light if need be.

Have you changed your flow at all in the tank. That usually makes them move too. Are you feeding it? Feedings normally keep them in one spot as they know their needs are being meet there.
