So my Green BTA looks great during the day until about 4pm everyday then his tentacles get real thin and stringy and turn brown. This usually lasts about 4-5hours.
The BTA has taken up home low on the rocks in a cave but normally pops out between a crevice into the light during the day. Tank is a BC29, all levels normal, 144w lighting, Rio 6 pump with locline splitter with hydorflo. I feed the BTA every other day and he eats normal. Is it maybe the BTA is either having problems with not enough flow to excrete waste in the evenings or is it maybe he is not high enough on the rocks for lighting? How would I move the BTA to higher up?
