Green bubble tip anemone for true perc pair?

I got a pair of true percs that are still juvenile that I am trying to mate.

I would like to add a GBTA for them and was wondering if its a good choice.

Thanks!

my perc still hasn't noticed my green bta, but she loves my zoos and sleeps next to magnet glass cleaner, LOL. I hope I have luck.

in my opinoin the percs are the more picky clowns. the BTA is a very good choice and i like the green one at that. just dont choose the haitian anemone, i couldnt get any percs to go in it(but i had a maroon clown love it).

percs

percs

are your percs tank bred or wild,my pair of black percs would not go near any of my anemones but i bought a pair of wild percs and they went into my heteractis crispa within 15 mins of putting them in the tank.in nature percs would not reside in a bta but in captivity will go into different ones but all the captive bred ones i have kept none would ever go into an anemone.derek

carpet?
gsmguy, carpet is a common name for alot of different kinds of anemones. Percula's naturally host crispa, gigantea, and magnifica. Carpet is two broad and should not be used when trying to help someone out. All your doing is confusing them.

However, captive bred fish ARE capable of hosting, and WILL host anemones, they just take more time. If your fish are captive bred, don't be discouraged...be patient.

Well I've been in the wild and I would know so there. Plus I'm a fish too.

to get back to the original question... My true percS love there GBTA. They hosted it only 2 days after adding my GBTA

I have true percs in a large toadstool, and false in a long tentacle. it took them about a week to get into the long tentacle though.
