Green calcified algae?

I know you have to sometimes remove coraline from the glass with things such as credit cards.

Does anyone have to remove calcified green algae? Or is it a type of coraline? I have a couple of patches of small green spots on the glass. The magnet cleaner doesn't do anything to them.

I was wanting to see how common having these green spots are, or if this is a sign of something.

its a type of coralline. my green is slowly starting to be taken over by the purples and pinks though. i have a pic of my mag float in the gallery you can check to see some of the colors coralline comes in.

The colors of my coralline cover most of the spectrum, I have blue through to maroon to deep red, orange, green and even some that is so light it looks yellowish.
