Green Chromis are cool!

O.k., so I like my green chromis. No matter if they don't school, no matter if they become aggressive (*), the way the light reflects on their bodies and gives them that green-bluish color is just great. Plus they are reef safe!

yeah, I saw a blue chromis for the first time --they arent as brightly colored as I thought. the wave2k site has a nice lil video of the green chromis schooling in there demo tank

I have 4 of them and one of my clownfish schools with them, it is the funniest thing. He thinks he's one of them I swear. Also, if you don't want an angel, my sixline wrasse makes them school up real nice.

I think they are a very "underrated" fish. Sure they are basic and cheap, but if you get a nice group of them (at least 5) they really add a sparkle to your tank!

Very nice fish - my LFS has a pair of large ones in a display reef , they are beauties!

Underated fish for sure!

Let's hear it for the blue-green chromis!!

alot of times in the pet stores (like petco) they are by themselves and malnourished, so you dont notice them as you would if they were all healthy and schooling like the pics -- I've never seen healthy ones in person

I buy some saltwater fish from petco (but only a few). I love my chromis but my 6-line is being really aggressive in my 20 gallon. but now i am upgrading to a 72 so they will have more room.

However there are not many fish stores in colorado so a lot of times petco is better quality. If anyone knows of good stores in the summit county area ( i guess there are none here) or in west denver/boulder.

Ahh.... We have a petco here but ever time I'm in there for dog food and freshwater feeder fish you just see dead saltwater fish.
I lucked out over here in IL There is a bunch of saltwater reef stores.

Maybe you should looking into starting up a store front out of your home???

Ez money!!

I have a buddy in Denver. I'll check with him for ya.
