green chromis disease ?

ever see green chromis get that disease where they start rapid breathing and then are dead in a few days?
it only seems to affect chromis and I have no idea what it is or how to treat it..
anyone know what it is????
P.S. I 've seen this many times over the years -completely baffled by it.

I have seen that behavior in chromis that are being harassed by other chromis, usually shortly before they 'disappear'. Other than that, I'm not sure what it would be.
