I have had 3 green Chromis in my tank for some time now. One of them likes to hide in a particular rock crevice. Earlier this week I purchased a Royal Gramma. When I introduced him to the tank, he immediately hid in the rock crevice that the green Chromis normally inhabits. The RG has now made this crevice it's home. The green Chromis has been evicted from his normal home and now swims above the area and he has turned a very pale green almost white. He still eats and is social, but spends most of his time hovering above his old home and the new tenant RG.
I guess my question is, does the color change indicate a poor future for this green (white) Chromis?
