been fighting with this for a little while anyone know what type of algea it is and best way to get rid of please
while I am at it my torch coral used to look like now it looks like
and ricordas look poor but water tests great any help would be great ty
phosphate 0
nitrate 0
nitrite 0
ammonia 0
tank is 9 months old lights are on 50% and are leds run 10 hours a day

If you LEDs are programmable I would run a 3.5 hour ramp up, run at your peak intensity for 3 hours and then ramp down for 4 hours. For LEDs with only lights on or off I would reduce the photoperiod to 8 hours.
Even though your tests are showing zero nitrates and phosphates, the true levels are being masked the algae growth. You will need to reduce the nutrients in your system and/or run GFO or a phosphate removing resin to reduce the algae. Increasing your CUC could also help.
