Green Film on Glass

A few weeks ago I posted about how I nuked my tank by taking it off of ZeoVit. I was able to save a few of my corals and fish, but everything else died. In the end I scraped all the old LR and bought new cycled LR from the LFS. They were nice enough to hold my critters for a week or so. The tank never really had a spike in Nitrate, Nitrite, or Phosphate after the new rock. Well I had to put all the critters back in a little earlier than I wanted, but everything is doing great. All SPS have new growth and great PE, clam is well happy as a clam, and all fish healthy. The only issue is I have this dusting of green algae on the glass, it comes back hours after I cleaned it. I have no algea on the rocks. I have a great cleanup crew from reefcleaners.org. I am also running rox and rowaphos in two reactors, skimmer is also working great. Its been a while since I cycled as tank, so I am assuming this is normal but want some more opinions. Thanks for reading my long winded post.

sounds normal. I just added a sandbed to my tank and have the same stuff along with some real fuzzy brown algae that's on the high flow areas of the glass, etc.
fun times

I am also having the same problem. SPS have great polyp exstension, good color, new growth. Running GFO and ROX carbon in sep. reactors, using RODI that comes out 0 on my TDS meter, SWC skimmer which works awesome, a fuge filled with cheato on a reverse light cycle from my tank, and I used all BRS dry rock for my setup even acid bathed it to remove any locked in phosphates in the rock if any. Im still getting a green film on my glass that comes back 12-24 hours later. I do not understand it. There is no other types of algea in the tank for example cyano, hair, brown(diatoms). The tank is a month and 1 week old with 2 clowns, a royal gramma, and a chromis. Even when I feed frozen food I rinse it under RO to get that nasty water its packaged with out. I dont feed heavy at all either. I need some answers lol:headwally:
