I was at my lfs and I was picking out some corals for my tank when the owner said why don't you take this one it is a good coral so I took it along with 2 others only to find out when I researched it that it was a green flower pot coral and they almost always die so I checked it out some more and those that have had success with it used no mechanical filtration or protein Skimmers does this sound right does anyone have any advise on how to keep it alive?

I would try and feed it a couple of times a week with cyclopeeze or some other small food, possibly othohome.

OK yeah this is such a nice looking coral I don't want it to die here is a pic

They are difficult to keep but make sure to feed regularly and be cautious of giving it to much flow as it can irritate it very easily if water is pounding directly on it. Very nice though!
