green fuzzy mushroom

tony, some are green, and some are green in the middle than are orange all the way around. i have some real small ones that are all orange also.
Can anyone ID?

yes its the same species if thats what you where asking. the really small one on the right near the feather duster is all orange right now

72watt CF. 1 36watt white light and 1 36watt actinic. i also keep the moon light on all day.

it does look a lot like it but colors are completely different.

I don't have a good mushroom book, you may have a rare color. Where did it come from?

It mushrooms are like acros, there are seemingly endless colors.

I did some reading last night, I now think you have a Rhodactis Inchoata. How big in diameter is it?

maybe you can help me out. theres around 6 huge shrooms on the rock and 2 are definitely dieing. 1 is shooting out the white spiraly stuff all in a ball and the other looks like its just melting away. The other 4 arent expanding as much but are still doing decent. Params are normal.

I've had the same problem with my newish hairy shrooms... too much light and they started bleaching/melting. I have moved them into the shade and this seems to have helped... they aren't getting any worse.

i dont think its lack of light. i have 72watts of PC and there on the bottom of my tank. the rest are completely open again

Pull it out of DT if necessary, don't let it turn to mush.

Dave said too much light...

Some times corals just die, no real reason, very frustrating. I lose 20% or so of new corals. As I get more experienced that % keeps going down. I am still not 100% refined in my husbandry, miss things and make mistakes.
