Green Galaxia

I have a green galaxia about the size of a baseball. Yesterday I noticed that one small head (not much bigger than a BB) was lying on the sand. The small head had the tenticles sticking out of the end like nothing was wrong. Is this how they reproduce? If so do I just super glue this to a piece of LR and let it grow?

Yes it is possible or some how something broke it off, but that is how they are fragged as long as both seem to look healthy, then you have nothing to worry about and you may have a new piece
