My green gonipora has brown jelly...i have done the iodine,calicum dips for about a week now, but it keeps coming back.. any help....any idea on how i might be able to save this coral???

try blowing the brown jelly of in a big blow of salt water .
But don't blow it of in your main tank or your athere
carol will get it ,this will help . are you water test ok
My LFS has this brown jelly all the time, id like to have hafe
that they kill just make me sick.
Unfortunately at this point, there is not much you can do. If you are using Reef Dip or TechD Try taking the iodine dip stuff at full concentration and daubing it directly on the affected areas every day or even twice a day. The brown jelly will still probably come back. Blowing the brown jelly off in a separate container is a good idea, but it won't do much in terms of getting rid of the infection; it will still come back. When you blow the brown jelly off though, do it very carefully without much force; otherwise you will detach more tissue from off of the corallite ridges. This just makes the brown jelly worse.
Once brown jelly on Goniopora has become entrenched, it is near impossible to get rid of. When it occurs on a healthy coral, is caught early, and treated immediately it can be cured.
