sooo... waz up REEFERS. want to know what you guys are using to eat up GHA. I want new fish so HIT ME!!!:fish1::fish1:

lawnmover blenny, starry blennys, emerald crabs (don't like that option may lose fish later on)....... that's about all I know

I would get down to the source though as to what is causing the green hair algae these guys can only do so much and it will just grow back.

That depends on the tank size. I have tangs and a starry blenny. Barely see any algae.

Edit: as stated above you may want to see what's causing your algae... What's your P04 at?

The real green hair algae king is the sea hare. And you only need one to do the job. I had to give mine away after destroying my hair algae problem lol.

I put those huge mexican turbo snails in and they ate it all up. I had a bad problem with it in my wife’s 10 gallon and it’s all pretty much gone now.

I have used emerald crabs in the past for bubble algae but never GHA. Sea Hares are in fact awesome, careful it does not starve they will devastate algae faster then you would think. I would really attemp to treat the problem creating the GHA out break. Could those few rocks be leaching? Are they maybe a different rock from the others? I only ask because I have had this problem from a few lps covered rocks I rescued that ended up giving me problems.

I bought a Sea Hare and it will not stay up on my rocks where the algae is. It just wants to crawl around the sand bed and the glass. I am likely going to return it to the LFS.
