I went away for a week and had a friend watch the tank and came back and the sump had gotten low enough that it had pumped a decent amount of air bubbles into the tank before he had a chance to top off the tank.
I am assuming the extra oxygen and too much food are a reason for the algea.
I have done a water change and will be doing another soon.
I set up my phos-ban reactor to remove some of the phosphates.
I bought more astreas, nassarius, and hermits.
I have turned off my t-5's with only the actinics running for a couple of days. Today I'll turn them back on but for only 5-6 hours a day.
Any other suggestions?
