Green Moray has some new white blotches on him

Anyone have any idea as to what this could be? He has been very healthy the past few weeks . I did change his diet recently to shrimp and am treating him to some garlic tabs now. I know that eels do not get ich . He just got these overnight , patches of pigment loss.

Update Monday.

I fed him shrimp saturated in garlic oil and the blotchiness is all gone . He is very active today . It must be from not having a range of diet .
I will also see if he can go 3-4 dayswithout eating before they return
