Green Open Brain

I've had a green open brain for about a week now. Am I supposed to feed this? If so, I don't understand how or when?

If you add frozen food to the tank, you'll probably notice little tentacles emerging on you brain. This is a feeding response. When it does this, you can put little bits of meaty food onto the tentacles to feed the coral.

They usually put out feeder tentacles at night, so you can also feed it then.

I just got one last week and about two hours after my lights go out, I place a small piece of freeze dried krill, that I have soaked in tank water for an hour or so, on the inner mantle. Those little tentacles grab it and it slowly closes up so the krill is pulled into his mouth. I do this a couple times a week. One word of caution, make sure there are no hard parts on the krill that could tear or puncture the flesh because this could cause and infection and that would be hard for it to recover from. Don't overfeed him, two or three times a week might even be too much as they are photosynthetic.
